Tewksbury, MA – Representatives from Lowell Five Bank attended the Fall Middlesex Community College Foundation Scholarship Awards Ceremony where MCC student Yue (Helen) Zhang received Lowell Five Bank’s Scholarship.
A resident of Lexington, MA, Helen is a Business Accounting Major at MCC and volunteers as a tutor at the Bedford, MA campus. After graduation from Middlesex Community College, her goal is to continue her education at the University of Massachusetts – Lowell and become a CPA.
When approached by the MCC’s Foundation to provide scholarship funds to assist deserving students in furthering their education in Business, Legal Studies, or Public Service Division, the Bank welcomed the opportunity. “There’s no more satisfying investment than in supporting and advancing the education of members of our community,” said Lowell Five Bank President and CEO David Wallace. “We are proud to play a small part in helping students like Helen to reach their career goals.”
