Lowell Five’s Dracut Branch supports Catie’s Closet

Lowell Five’s Dracut Branch recently held a Back-to-School Drive to support Catie’s Closet. Catie’s Closet is a Dracut, MA-based non-profit dedicated to helping students facing homelessness, poverty, foster care, and other struggles. They provide students with access to in-school closets where they can discreetly shop for clothing and other necessities, free of charge. Catie’s Closet maintains unused areas within schools throughout the Merrimack Valley, as well as Boston, Western Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Long Island, NY.

In late August, Lowell Five invited customers to drop off gently used youth and teen clothing, shoes, and school supplies at the Bank’s Dracut Branch. Bank staff then delivered the donated items to Catie’s Closet’s distribution center located at 19 School Street in Dracut.

Visit the Catie’s Closet website for more information about how you can help.
