Lowell Five Branch Managers participate in Nashoba Valley Technical High School Financial Fair

Lowell, MA – Members of Lowell Five’s Retail Banking Management Team were happy to support Nashoba Technical High School Branch Supervisor Kelli Garthe at a Financial Fair held at the school on Friday, June 7th. The goal of the program is one that Lowell Five supports and encourages – empowering students to be proactive about their financial futures by developing solid personal financial habits. Called “Reality Check – Life after Nashoba Tech,” the program presented over 180 11th grade students with interactive simulations of saving, spending, and budgeting based on career choices and lifestyle decisions. Each student participant chose an occupation and made a variety of financial decisions ranging from where to live and how to save for retirement, to buying a television and owning a pet. The Lowell Five team was there to guide and advice students through choices concerning general banking information, credit/lending, and savings.
